You have seven weeks to catch up on the nominees before the winner is named.
The 2024 Oscar nominees have officially been named, including those for Best Picture.
And while some Irish movie lovers may be frustrated by actors Andrew Scott, Barry Keoghan and Paul Mescal being snubbed, their fellow countrymen Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer) and Robbie Ryan (cinematographer on Poor Things) did score nominations.
This year’s Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, 10 March 2024 – which gives cinephiles seven weeks to catch up on all the films nominated this time round.
