Timothy Olyphant’s new action thriller just added to streaming

The movie is from the makers of Bullet Train and John Wick.

The film tells the story of an unhappily married couple, Dan (Jason Segel, Shrinking) and Lisa (Samara Weaving, Ready or Not), who set off for a weekend at their secluded lakeside cabin.

The pair say they are embarking on the getaway to reconnect, hoping to repair their marriage. In reality, Dan and Lisa are separately and secretly intending to kill the other during the trip.

These plans, however, are thwarted when the two arrive at the cabin and find that a trio of vicious criminals on the run (Juliette Lewis, Keith Jardine, and Olyphant) have been hiding out there.

"As the toxic getaway spirals into chaotic carnage, Dan and Lisa must soon figure out if they want to save their marriage or survive it," the plot synopsis adds.

Praised for its dark humour, its action set-pieces, and its performances, the remake earned decent reviews upon its cinema release in the States.
