Is there anyone in the world who doesn't want Paul Rudd to be their best mate?
For the release of the first Ant-Man movie, JOE had the opportunity to chat to Paul Rudd, and in the process, we gifted him with our first ever Certificate Of Irishness.
In the years since only two other folks have received such a rare honour, and they are Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell!
With the upcoming release of Ant-Man And The Wasp, we had the opportunity to chat to him again, and we had to ask, where did he put that certificate?
Well, as it turns out, he has built an entire Irish pub in his house, and the certificate is hanging proudly over the bar at the pub.
On top of that, it turns out that he actually has his own supplier for Guinness kegs, and actually knows all too well how to pour the perfect pint!
Off the back of that, we had to tell him that we ran into someone (who shall rename nameless!) who worked on Moone Boy (which Rudd starred in the series finale of), and the story of the wrap party in which he tried to go head-to-head, pints-wise, with Chris O'Dowd, which... man, we would've given anything to be invited to that one!
Oh, and we also chat about Ant-Man And The Wasp, and of course whether or not Rudd knows how Avengers 4 ends.
Check it all out here:
On top of Rudd, we also chatted to his The Wasp co-star Evangeline Lilly, her movie dad Michael Douglas, and the movie's director Peyton Reed. You can check all those chats out right here.
Ant-Man And The Wasp is in Irish cinemas from Friday 3 August, and you can check out the trailer right here:
