Tonight was the first episode of Ireland’s take on Dancing With The Stars, and one man stood out: step forward, Dancing Dessie.
Over the course of the next few weeks, 11 celebs will take each other on as they hopefully learn enough moves to impress at a wedding.
This week, much of the reaction was reserved for sports broadcaster Des Cahill, who was helped by his partner Karen Byrne — Ireland’s top Latin dancer, who has represented Ireland in international competition.
Also on the show tonight were comedian Des Bishop, Dayl Cronin, GAA star Aidan O’Mahony and Big Brother’s Hughie Maughan. Next week will feature just the women, and nobody will be voted off on either show. After that, it gets serious…
