Pic: Breaking Bad’s Dean Norris shows off the brilliant and very Irish painting given to him on The Saturday Night Show

Come back any time Dean, we’d be happy to have you again.

Come back any time Dean, we’d be happy to have you again.

It’s pretty rare that a bona fide international superstar makes an appearance on an Irish television chat show, so when Dean Norris (Hank from Breaking Bad) featured as a guest on The Saturday Night Show a few weeks back – at a time when the end of the show was being talked about all over the world – it was a huge deal indeed.

At the time, Norris tweeted about the great time he had while in Ireland – on the sauce until 6am apparently – and he obviously hasn’t forgotten about us since, tweeting a picture of a painting drawn and given to Dean by professional caricaturist Niall O’Loughlin, which Dean has framed and hung over his bar back in the US.

His portrayal of Hank and his real-life demeanour in other television appearances meant we had a soft spot for Norris as it was, but thanks to this he has gone up even further in our estimations.

Like we said Dean, you’re welcome back any time… bitch.

Hat-tip to Niall O’Loughlin himself for sending this one into us.
