Optimus Prime + giant killer Transformers sword = a very happy JOE…
The more teasers, trailers and posters that we see for Transformers: Age Of Extinction, the more we cannot wait to see the absolute Michael Bay-hem of this film when it rolls into Irish cinemas this July.
Following on the from the fourth film’s latest explodetastic trailer (that’s right, “explodetastic” is now a word), the good people at Paramount have released three brand new, awesome-looking posters featuring our beloved Autobot leader Optimus Prime and his loyal companion Bumblebee… minus a certain Mr Shia ‘I’ve-got-my-head-in-a-bag’ LaBeouf of course.
Set in a post-Transformers 3 America, the film stars up and coming Irish star Jack Reynor alongside Marky Mark Wahlberg, the latter playing a mechanic who gets caught up in the war between the Autobots and Decepticons after discovering a beat up, rusty old truck… that just happens to be Optimus Prime.
JOE’s favourite poster? It’s a tough choice alright, but we reckon that it has to be the brilliant one where Optimus is down on his rusty old knees and undoubtedly screaming “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”… presumably as he realises that somebody has just filled up his tank with dirty, manky leaded petrol as opposed to the High Octane fuel that he’s normally used to.
Check them out…
