PICS: Brendan Dassey looks a lot different now than he did during Making a Murderer

You can barely recognise him.

Few documentary series have had the effect on the general public like Netflix’s Making a Murderer has had in the last couple of months and fans of the show are still interested in news on the central characters long after they’ve finished watching it.

Brendan Dassey, the nephew of Steven Avery, was given a lengthy prison sentence for his alleged role in the murder of Teresa Halbach when he was just 16 years old and recent pictures show just how much he has changed in the ten years since.

Dassey has now seen his conviction overturned this weekend and his cousin, Carla Chase, recently tweeted pictures of Dassey with his mother Barbara. Hopefully he can now begin to lead a normal life.
