PICS: This Dublin cinema held a dog-friendly screening of Isle Of Dogs and it is a cuteness overload

Isle Of Dogs. I Love Dogs. Geddit?

Wes Anderson’s new animated movie Isle Of Dogs goes on general release in Irish cinemas from Friday 30 March, but in advance of that Dublin’s Light House Cinema held a dog-friendly screening on Sunday morning, and the images from the event will have you howling.

What looks like dozens of dogs filled out the screen with their owners to enjoy the new quirky Anderson tale (which we’ve seen, and we thought was brilliant, by the way), and the very original screening idea to bring dogs along to it is a great one.

So what should they do next? Classic re-releases of Beethoven or Turner And Hooch? Should cats also be welcome for a screening of Cats & Dogs? We can’t see that one going down too well, actually. Or should the entire zoo come along for The Jungle Book?

Until then, check out these happy doggy faces!
