Any chance of them getting back together on the small screen?
It’s been six years since the incredibly popular hospital-based comedy Scrubs finished up and time has only increased the fondness of our memories of JD, Turk, Dr. Cox, Elliott, Janitor et al.
The last season, when a host of regular cast members dropped out and a raft of new ones were introduced, met with a lukewarm reception from fans.
During the show’s heyday, however, it really was a brilliant watch, particularly the bromance between JD (Zach Braff) and Turk (Donald Faison) and the dynamic between the former and his mentor, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley).
The men behind all three of the aforementioned characters were present for a mini-Scrubs reunion over the Easter weekend and they were joined by Christa Miller, who played Dr. Cox’s wife Jordan in a relationship that was the closest thing to Father Ted’s John and Mary in television.
Miller posted evidence of the reunion on Instagram and it’s fair to say all of them have aged well; surely there’d be another season or two in them if they decided to reunite for real on screen?
After all, who in their right minds could get enough of this?
