Ricky Gervais really doesn't care if you're offended by his jokes
Long may this continue.
As previously mentioned, Ricky Gervais was absolutely brilliant as the host for this years Golden Globes because like all good comedians, he wasn't afraid to discuss taboo subjects, upset some precious egos or highlight the absurdity that is life in Hollywood.
Gervais was hosting the awards for the fourth time and everyone really should know what to expect by now.
This being said, it seems that some people have been complaining about his brand of comedy but in typical Gervais fashion, he really doesn't care. Why should he?
Nothing was off limit for the comedian during the Globes as he gleefully took the piss out of Ben Affleck, Mel Gibson, gender equality, Caitlyn Jenner, Sean Penn, the Hollywood Foreign Press, your mam and lots more.
It seems that quite a few people didn't know that this is Gervais' job but he was quick to put them back in their place on Twitter.
Suggesting a joke about Caitlin Jenner is automatically transphobic is like suggesting a joke about Bill Cosby is automatically racist.

Viewer: I'm offended by a joke you made.
Me: So?
Viewer: You gonna apologise?
Me: No.
Viewer: Then I won't watch you again.
Me: Correct— Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) January 12, 2016
In the future, everyone will be offended by me for 15 minutes. pic.twitter.com/sTiLO5p9w0

You have every right to be offended. Just don't cry when no one cares.

There's definitely one good thing to take out of all of thisthough.
Hosting The Globes has made me want to do a new stand up show next year. Now THAT'S when you're allowed to be offended. You whiney cunts :)
