It’s the race of a lifetime.
Rory McIlroy is facing off against Paris Hilton on a new episode of The Grand Tour, a show set to be released on Amazon Prime later this week.
The Grand Tour is a British car-enthusiast series, currently in its second season for Amazon video. It’s hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May.
McIlroy and Hilton will be featured in the show’s ‘Celebrity Face Off’ segment, where the two of them will each drive a Jaguar F Type around the show’s designated track “Eboladrome”, at the former RAF Wroughton.
It is designed to “trip cars up”, according to Clarkson. Section names include the “Isn’t Straight”, “Your Name Here”, “Old Lady’s House”, “Substation” and “Field of Sheep”.
It’s been claimed that the American socialite had refused to wear a racing helmet as she was worried it would ruin her newly styled hair. The crew did, however, admit that she was indeed a “delight” on set.
