RRRAAAARRRR! Jurassic Park 4 gets its official title, release date and brand spankin’ new poster

So it looks like they didn’t go with JOE’s suggestion of Dino4...

RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

According to The Wrap, the fourth film in the Jurassic Park series has now been given an official name and release date by Universal Studios.

Due to stomp its way into Irish cinemas on Friday June 12th 2015, the official title is, to paraphrase the words of Mr Alan Partridge… “JURASSIC WORLD.”

Oh. Slightly disappointingosaurus.

So it looks like they didn’t go with JOE’s suggestion of Dino4. Or Velocirap4. Or Bronta4aus. Or any other dinosaur-related word with the number 4 crowbarred into it somewhere.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow and with Steven Spielberg back on board as producer, there are bound to be some obvious tie-ins with the series’ previous films (the inclusion of giant, scary dinosaurs we’d imagine) but, whatever happens, we just want some sort of guarantee that Laura Dern turns up with her khaki cargo pants and that someone plays the iconic theme tune on a melodica:
