Some beloved characters return in the first full trailer for Season 4 of Rick and Morty

Rick and Morty Season 4

Season 4 of Rick and Morty starts on 10 November.

Wubba lubba dub dub!

We’re preferring to opt for the original meaning of that sentence and not Rick’s declaration that he’s in great pain as the first full trailer for Season 4 of Rick and Morty has just been released.

Aside from a look at some of their crazy adventures, we’re delighted to see a few familiar faces returning, with the likes of Mr Meeseeks, Mr Poopybutthole, and Revolio “Gearhead” Clockberg, Jr. all making appearances in the new trailer.

We wonder if Mr Poopybutthole forgives Beth for shooting him?

The new season of the beloved comedy premieres on Adult Swim on 10 November and the new season marks the first one that falls under the long-term deal showrunners Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland made with the network.

In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, Harmon said that the new deal will mean that the waiting period between seasons will now be minimised.

“I think it’s safe to say without fear of being wrong that the gap between seasons 3 and 4 will be the longest and last time that it’s ever so long that it’s ridiculous,” he said.

“I don’t know how fast we can do it, but I know it will never be this long again. There were so many things that had to be settled before we even started season 4, and it’s really safe to say — as Justin says — we’re literally writing season 5 while finishing season 4 just to force ourselves to commit to a certain schedule.”

The creators have confirmed that Season 4 will be 10 episodes long and will include guest voice actors such as Paul Giamatti, Kathleen Turner, Taika Waititi, and Sam Neill.

And that’s the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes.

Take a look at what’s in store.
