They have some fun with the dream casting of a potential Oasis biopic!

We think it is fair to say that Ireland love scary movies.

Which is why we’re very happy to say that new Irish horror movie The Hole In The Ground is really, really good (check out our review right here), and JOE was also very happy to sit down with the movie’s star Seána Kerslake and the movie’s co-writer and director Lee Cronin.

We sat down and chatted about our favourite scary movies, why Ireland seems to be getting better at making horror, and what inspirations they both had while making their new horror.

On top of that, Seána talked about the interesting attempts that people had on their pronouncing her name, and they both discuss the whirlwind they’ve both been caught up in since the fantastic reaction the movie had at the Sundance Film Festival a few weeks back.

Plus, a small discussion about what they might be doing next! Which may or may not include an Oasis biopic starring Barry Keoghan as one of the Gallagher brothers and Seána Kerslake as one of the Appleton sisters!

The Hole In The Ground is released in Irish cinemas from Friday 1 March.
