TG4 has once again raised the bar for Halloween night broadcast pranks

It's a yearly thing at this stage.

Anyone who tunes into TG4 on Halloween night usually receives some kind of payoff at the end of the weather report.

Whether (sorry), it's presenter Caitlín Nic Aoidh appearing to be struck by lightning live on air or just using a variety of different filters, it's all a bit of fun.

So of course, Halloween night wasn't going to pass by this year without acknowledgement.

Fair play for the effort but we'd just about managed to forget about the plot of The Ring after all these years and now we're back to square one. Thanks a bunch, TG4...
