From the director of The Incredible Hulk and Now You See Me, the movie boasts two big stars.

Netflix has just added The Last House, a new post-apocalyptic thriller in the same vein as the streaming service's earlier hits Bird Box and Bird Box Barcelona.

As days turn into weeks and months, the four must work together to survive against both their dwindling resources and the enigmatic, looming threat that is keeping them trapped.

Check out the trailer for The Last House here:

Previously titled 11817, The Last House comes from director Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, Now You See Me) and writer Matthew Robinson (Love and Monsters, this year's excellent sci-fi Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die).

Early reviews for the Netflix movie seem mixed to positive. The thriller's Covid lockdown-inspired premise and its performances have been singled out for praise, though its ending appears to be divisive.

You can read a sample of some of the positive reviews so far for The Last House below:

The Guardian: "Post-Covid apocalyptic lockdown thriller is a solid night in."

The Hollywood Reporter: "Claustrophobic Netflix thriller most effective while the threat remains unknown."

Variety: "Wagner Moura and Greta Lee bring conviction to a suitably stifling stay-at-home thriller"

The Last House is streaming on Netflix right now.
