Netflix is about to release a new must-see documentary

The three-part series is described as a 'raw record of a life lived in full'.

The three-part series is billed as the first in-depth documentary about Matthew Perry. The actor played Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom Friends and was an advocate for addiction recovery and reform, having battled addiction for much of his life.

Perry died in 2023 from an accidental overdose at the age of 54, leaving the world in mourning.

The synopsis for the documentary from the streaming service reads:

"Told through intimate testimonies from close family and friends, this documentary event reveals the real Matthew Perry—generous, funny, vulnerable, larger than life—and the battles he fought to become the man behind the icon. A raw record of a life lived in full, and the honesty that became his greatest legacy.

The doc draws on never-before-heard testimony from Perry’s sister, Mia Perry Bowick, a licensed psychotherapist, writer, and speaker.

It also includes unreleased photos and videos from the Perry family’s private archive.
