What The Overlap and Stick to Football deals mean for viewers in Ireland

The Overlap is teaming up with Disney+ after Gary Neville's network signed a sponsorship and distribution deal with the streaming giant.

Stick to Football, featuring Corkman Roy Keane, will now be available on Disney+ as well as YouTube, RTÉ reports.

Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch 40 episodes of Stick to Football, hosted by Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright and Keane, during the 2026-27 season.

The deal also includes 50 episodes of a new show, Stick to United with Wayne Rooney, co-hosted by content creator Mark Goldbridge, whose United We Stand is the biggest Manchester United fan channel on YouTube, The42 reports.

Both of Goldbridge's platforms were bought by The Overlap in April.

Neville, co-founder and co-chair of The Overlap, said: "We're immensely proud to be partnering with Disney+.

"It's one of the world's most iconic entertainment brands, and for us this is a unique partnership that feels right for everyone involved.

“It's a partnership that expands our reach without compromising our identity,” he added.

Nothing changes for those who watch on YouTube, with Neville saying fans “will continue to enjoy our content in exactly the way they always have."

However, Disney+ subscribers in Ireland will also get the shows plus exclusive extra content on the Red Devils.

Rooney revealed that The Real Rooneys, featuring his wife Coleen and their four boys, will premiere on Disney+ soon, joining a slate that already includes spy thriller The Veil.
