The extremity of the Westboro Baptists should come of little surprise at this stage and they have used Paul Walker’s death as another means of courting publicity.
The death of the 40 year-old star of the Fast and the Furious series has given the church another opportunity to publicise their hate campaign, confirming on their Twitter account that they will be picketing the actor’s funeral.
YES! We rejoice when we see God’s judgments: #GlasgowHelicopter #PaulWalker & #NYCTrainDerailment! We wash our feet in their blood Psa.58:10

While they regularly target the funerals of soldiers, they now seem to be focusing on celebrities too, while the tragic helicopter crash in Glasgow and fatal train derailment in New York are also mentioned in a derogatory fashion.

A quick scan through their tweets shows the high level of hatred and animosity from the church towards their targets and they can expect quite a backlash from Walker’s huge legion of fans.
