There’s an IMAX film festival happening in Dublin this weekend

Rory Cashin

Did you know that IMAX an acronym for Image Maximum? Well, now you do. And that’s not even the most interesting thing we’ve got to tell you about IMAX today.

There is just one IMAX screen in all of Ireland, and that is in Cineworld Cinemas in Dublin, and on Saturday 8 April there is going to be a special one-day IMAX film festival.

Over the course of the day, four different movies will be shown in the IMAX format, as well as all being shown in 3D.

And the best part is that tickets are just €4 per movie.

So here’s what you can expect to see on the day, and what time they’ll be on.
