Reckon they’re good enough to be a wingman?
We’ve never lost that loving feeling for Lieutenant Nick “Goose” Bradshaw because Maverick’s R.I.O was a true jack of all trades.
Aside from being a superb Naval Flight Officer that always had Maverick’s back, he could also bring the house down on the piano and make the entire room sing in harmony.
Great balls of fire, he was good.
This being said, his level-headed, calm and cool demeanour made him incredibly popular with all the cadets at Top Gun. Truthfully, we’re still not over his tragic death. It’s still too soon.
This being said, we’re heading back into the dangerzone with Top Gun: Maverick and it seems that Goose’s legacy will live on.
Director Joseph Kosinski is on the lookout for an actor to play Goose’s son and the shortlist is Nicholas Hoult (About A Boy, X-Men: First Class), Glen Powell (Hidden Figures, The Expendables 3) and Miles Teller (Whiplash, Fantastic Four)
We already know that Ice Man is returning and now that the film is really starting to take shape, we feel the need for speed!
