Introducing ‘John Wick,’ everybody.
This one has the distinct whiff of ‘so bad it’s bound to be brilliant’ as Keanu Reeves plays a hitman forced out of retirement when some very bad men kill his dog and take everything he holds dear.
Judging by the trailer, the dialogue is not too far off the register marked ‘Need for Speed’ but it still looks like it has some great moments, as Neo kicks some rather scurvy arse to kingdom come.
The cast also includes the not insignificant talents of Willem Dafoe, Lance Reddick from The Wire, John Leguizamo and Ian McShane.
