‘Tis the season for giddily perusing TV guides and making note of the programmes and movies that we’ll be watching over the Christmas and at the top of a lot of people’s lists will be the Sherlock Christmas special on New Year’s Day. A one-off episode titled ‘The Abonimable Bride’, it will see Holmes and Watson investigate a mysterious ghostly bride who appears to have committed murder from beyond the grave.
