“That is one pungent smell John.”

As we’ve seen often in the past, pretty much anything can happen on Ireland’s biggest chat show and so it proved on last night’s edition of the Late Late. Plenty of farmers around the country will have been familiar with the sight of animals giving birth and all the messiness that it entails, but we’re sure there were a few who had never seen the like of it until Bernard O’Shea got his hands dirty alongside John Fagan in Westmeath last night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvOV2WF6vjQ Clip via The Late Late Show Fair play to Bernard; he got stuck in and helped successfully deliver little Bernadette and Ryanadette, although given where their hands had been, there was probably no need for the handshake between himself and John afterwards.
John Fagan's farm in Castlepollard will be the headquarters for Big Week on the Farm, a special live TV event broadcasting all next week on RTÉ One at 7pm nightly (Monday to Friday).
