This is about as far from Game of Thrones as you can possibly get but it’s still absolutely brilliant.
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the brilliant HBO series Game of Thrones? Maybe it’s the often gratuitous violence, the often grim storylines attached to certain characters or its ability to shock audiences with dramatic plot switches.
Or maybe it’s the glut of attractive female characters or the rather frequent sex scenes but whatever it is, you’re certainly not likely to associate it with the wackiness portrayed in this brilliant skit by the funny folks at Bad Lip-Reading, who took scenes from the first season of the show to re-imagine it as a series based on a medieval theme park run by Lord Eddard Stark or Eddie (Sean Bean).
Nearly all of the show’s most prominent characters play big roles in the skit, from Eddie to ditzy teenager Denise (Daenerys Targaryen), Jojo (Joffrey), the guy that everyone loves to hate, creepy Ferris (Varys) and our personal favourite Terry (Tyrion Lannister), a cheeky scamp who makes up for his lack of height with a lot of attitude.
Like we said, it’s about as far from Game of Thrones as you can get but it should help fans of the show in need of a fix before Season Four hits TV screens next year.
Winter is coming after all.
