Video: Michael Fassbender looks great in the new trailer for the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic

How do you like them Apples?

Carl Kinsella

“Artists lead and hacks ask for a show of hands.”

This isn’t the same Steve Jobs you remember and this trailer has a couple of surprises.

Steve Jobs, written by Aaron Sorkin of The Social Network, covers the period of time before Jobs’ success allowed him to be a serene, smiling genius whose wardrobe comprised of nothing but black turtleneck sweaters.

Undoubtedly, Fassbender’s portrayal of Jobs will shed a lot of light on the struggle of the man behind the enigma that emerged with the success of the iMac in 1998. In the two minutes below, we’re treated to teasers of problems in Jobs’ family life and his reputation as a megalomaniac by those who worked around him.

The movie is directed by Slumdog Millionaire’s Danny Boyle and Fassbender is joined on screen by Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels and Katherine Waterston.
