Disney/ Pixar are treating us to a look at the younger monsters, before they were scary. Nearly twelve years since the first movie was made, Monsters University looks into the past when Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan first met at University.
The pair are both ‘Scare’ majors and roommates and so a competition begins between them. As with all great love affairs, the pair hated each other on sight, initially.
The story will follow how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became friends. Billy Crystal and John Goodman return to reprise their animated characters while a new director, Dan Scanlon of Cars steps in.
The movie is set for Irish release on July 19, 2013.
