PJ Gallagher is one of Ireland’s best loved comedians.
He became a household name after his antics on Naked Camera where his creation, Jake Stevens, became one of the most impersonated characters ever in Ireland. Everyone knows someone who can do a good Jake Stevens.
He is also one of Ireland’s top stand-up comedians, but did you know that PJ, for years, has suffered from crippling stage fright?
The man would be so nervous, almost to the point of vomiting, and it took away the love of the game from him. Your humble author has gigged with him loads of times and trust me, it’s not an act.
Tonight we will see PJ getting some expert help for his stage fright in this, the latest in RTE’s Reality Bites series.
