The host of the popular RTE show, Kevin McGahern, is fantastic as the character Felix Bollard in this wonderful sketch about the nation’s tolerance, or lack of, for homophobia.
Some people thought Dermot Whelan would be a hard act to follow when he quit his role as presenter of Republic Of Telly. The incoming presenter, Kevin McGahern, would have his work cut out apparently.
Not on this evidence. This is great work from the Republic of Telly team and McGahern nails it as Felix Bollard, an activist against anti-homophobia in Ireland.
Won’t somebody please think of the homophobes!
