Video: Sesame Street’s Homeland spoof is absolutely brilliant

Even if you don’t watch Homeland, you’ll enjoy this sheep-based piss take with the famous muppets.
Homeland continues to divide opinion. Now into series 3, the antics of former marine Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) and the efforts of CIA operative Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) to work out what he is really up have veered from the ridiculous to the sublime but so far the new series is, just about, making sense again. The show is still a bit over the top though, with Carrie spending large parts of most episodes screaming or crying while either Brody, or her colleague Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), try to calm her down. Spotting the ‘out there’ streak to the show, the folks at Sesame Street decided to take the piss, creating a special bit featuring Carrie and Saul as sheep and Brody as, well, you’ll have to wait and see.
