Video: Stop everything! Navan man Pierce Brosnan played N64 video game Goldeneye with Jimmy Fallon last night

We can't even begin to describe how happy this makes us...

We can’t even begin to describe how happy this makes us…

When JOE was growing up, our main form of entertainment varied over the years. While we always went outside to play football, those rainy Irish afternoons indoors were spent playing video games.

Pong, Sensible Soccer, Streets of Rage and Super Mario Brothers all featured heavily, but no game took up as much of our time as the Nintendo 64 classic Goldeneye.

Certain people will instantly get goosebumps of nostalgia by simply hearing the words; Deathmatch, Rocket Launcher, KF7 Soviet and of course our favourite… Tanks.

Pierce Brosnan, who played 007 in the film, was a guest on Jimmy Fallon and he got to play with himself (hehehe!) on national television.

FYI, the Irish actor is awful at video games. We just hope that Pierce wasn’t left too shaken and stirred by this humbling experience.
