Between captivating us in True Detective and downright confusing us at times in Interstellar, McConaughey has barely put a foot wrong over the last couple of years.
That trend looks set to continue if the trailer for his latest movie, the Civil War thriller ‘Free State of Jones’, is anything to go by.
Written and directed by four-time Oscar nominee Gary Ross, the movie tells the story of defiant farmer Newt Knight and his rebellion against the confederate forces.
The movie is penned for release on May 27, and it looks set to be a cracker.
