As one of the finest actors of this and any generation, Tom Hanks has delivered some memorable performances in his career and his performance in Castaway is up there with the best of them.
We probably weren’t the only ones to shed a tear when he was cruelly separated from his only companion, Wilson, on his last-gasp voyage out to sea, but the pair of them were re-united at a New York Rangers game earlier this week.
