He’s back albeit briefly.

Top Gear has been off the road since March, you may have heard that story about Jeremy Clarkson being found guilty of verbally and physically assaulting one of the shows’ producers, but the controversial host will be back on the air very soon.

BBC2 have just announced that there will be a one-off special of Top Gear, featuring unaired segments of the most recent series.

In a brief press release, the Beeb said that the show will “set off on an adventure that includes brown beer, breakdowns and a hair raising classic car shows”.

Take a look at the trailer below.

In other Clarkson related news, the divisive broadcaster will be making his first TV appearance since being dropped from the hit show this Friday.

TFI Friday host Evans will be marking the shows 20th anniversary by chatting with Clarkson as well as Liam Gallagher and Roger Daltrey in a TFI “supergroup”.

Mmm, we wonder if a certain incident with an Irish producer will be discussed?
