The arrival of the first trailer for Planet Earth 2, the follow-up to the ground-breaking original BBC series from 2006, confirmed that it’s going to be something special. Though only 61 seconds long, it gave a glimpse into the amazing snapshots of life all over the planet captured over four years by the BBC Studios Natural History Unit production and co-produced with BBC America, ZDF, Tencent and France Télévisions. The extended trailer doesn’t feature the unmistakable narration of the great David Attenborough (he will be narrating the series, don't worry), but it does feature a score by none other than Hans Zimmer as well as some jaw-dropping footage of plant and animal life from all over the planet.
