WATCH: “I’m not going.” Harry Potter themed wedding causes havoc on the Irish Don’t Tell The Bride

Rory Cashin

The episode airs on Monday night.

If there is any Irish show this week that could stir up an even better viewer’s reaction than the Daniel O’Donnell episode of Room To Improve, it is this one.

After last week’s debacle which gave us a groom organising a Christmas-themed wedding – in August – for his initially unhappy but then totally happy bride, this week’s episode steps it up yet another notch.

Victor is hoping that his husband-to-be Brendan has organised a classy affair, complete with sharp tuxedos.

However, once his friend has decked him out in his intended get-up for the big day (the day before the wedding, we might add), Victor opens his eyes to see that he has been dressed up as Harry Potter.

He does… not react well.

Victor doesn’t hide his feelings about the outfit: “I can’t go to the wedding wearing this because I don’t want my wedding to be a circus. I am extremely disappointed in Brendán and I don’t know, literally, what he is thinking. He is just thinking about him, he is not thinking about us. I am not going”

And if Victor thinks this is the worst of it, he’s got more bad news on the way…

This Harry Potter themed episode of Don’t Tell The Bride will air on RTE2 on Monday night at 9.35pm.
