WATCH: Saturday Night Live aired what might just be the darkest sketch they’ve ever done

Rory Cashin

Our jaws. Are on. The floor.

Evil is subjective, obviously. Some of the biggest movie villains are the heroes of their own stories, and more often than not, whomever Batman or James Bond or whoever they are fighting at the time, their “evil plans” usually consist of stealing stuff that doesn’t belong to them, or holding someone/something/someplace to ransom.

Bad, sure, but not exactly evil.

However, in a sketch on last night’s Saturday Night Live, there was a competition involving the world’s most evil inventors, and their attempts at creating the World’s Most Evil Invention.

Doctor Micronox presents his Shrink Ray, and Baroness Antarctica brings up the Freeze Ray, and it’s all a bit been there, done that.

But then Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson arrives as Roy, and wheels out his invention, and let’s just say … it’s dark.

Super dark. More likely than not, offensively dark to a good portion of the viewers, so while we can’t fully recommend clicking play on the link below, if you do, just remember we warned you.

Plus we almost can’t believe that someone as wholesome as The Rock agreed to be part of the sketch this dark. It truly is one of the ages, and one that will be remembered in the long history of SNL.

And then that finishing line? We can’t imagine the folk at a certain American fast-food chain will be very happy with this…
