About as eerie as it gets…
There’s something about the Church of Scientology that fascinates us, whether it’s the high profile celebrities that sign up to it or the mysterious highest level of the religion where you’re informed that the dictator Xemu brought his people to earth 75 million years ago.
Many film and documentary makers over the years have tried to breach the secrecy that shrouds the religion with varying degrees of success with the latest being Louis Theroux.
We’ve already seen the previous trailer for the film and it had us hooked then but the latest one looks even better.
As part of the film, Louis tries to reach out to leader of the Church David Miscavige, but as the trailer goes on, he realises that this is never going to happen.
Throughout the whole unnerving trailer, Theroux is pursued by members of the Church of Scientology who film his every move and do their best to impede his progress.
It’s expected to be out on October 7 in Ireland and it looks unmissable.
