The buddy flick features two Oscar-winners in the lead roles.
Wolfs, the new action comedy thriller movie starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney, is finally available to watch now.
Streaming on Apple TV+, the film sees Clooney play a Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction-esque professional fixer hired to cover up a high-profile crime.
“But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two ‘lone wolves’ are forced to work together, they find their night spiralling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected,” the plot synopsis reads.
Written and directed by Jon Watts (the MCU Spider-Man trilogy), Wolfs has earned solid reviews for the most part.
In particular, its old school premise, the chemistry between frequent collaborators Clooney and Pitt, and Watts’ zippy direction have been singled out for praise.
You can read a sample of some of these positive reviews right here:
Chicago Tribune: “Watts stage-manages some well-paced vehicular mayhem, opaquely plotted intrigue concerning the DA’s connections in the real estate world and many, many low-key zingers between Clooney and Pitt about their aging carcasses.”
Consequence: “Wolfs is classy, smart, fun, and engaging storytelling, a solid film that plays great in a full theater and could have offered audiences a nice grown-up night at the movies.”
Los Angeles Times: “What Clooney and Pitt ultimately offer, whether deadpan or with raised voices, bored or engaged, is still above what passes for bunker onscreen charisma these days.”
Mashable: “Wolfs is a hoot in a way that feels almost vintage, but let’s go with timeless.”
Movie Mom: “Two old pros play two old pros in the irresistible Wolfs, basically George Clooney and Brad Pitt bickering plus some crime stuff (drugs, chases, shooting), and there’s nothing wrong with that. On the contrary, it is delightfully entertaining.”
The Nightly (AU): “There is still value and joy to be had watching Clooney and Pitt be goddamn movie stars.”
Wolfs is streaming on Apple TV+ right now.
