We’re off to Mitchelstown at the end of July, no question about it.
Wyvern Lingo, Otherkin and The Frank and Walters have all been added to the bill for the Indiependence Music and Arts Festival in Mitchelstown, County Cork between 29-31 July.
Bitch Falcon are also joining the bill which will be headlined by Editors, The Kooks, Bell X1 and Walking on Cars, plus Idlewild, Ash, Hudson Taylor, The Strypes, The Blizzards, Brian Deady and more.
Just announced today, they’ll be joined by Mind Riot, CC Smugglers, Picture This, Elm, Fang Club, Elephant, Wolves of Youth, State Lights, Bairbre Anne, Model Aeroplanes. Go Swim, Barq, Neon Wolf, Parliament Square, Jupe, Danny Battles, Brave Giant, Third Smoke and Cider Wasps.
A new feature at Indiependence is the new VIP Garden upgrade.
Upgrade tickets will be €50 including booking fee (a Weekend Ticket is required) and will ensure camping in a spacious private camping area with free showers and porcelain toilets.
In the VIP Arena, ticket holders will have access to the INDIE Garden, with chill out areas, comfortable seats, a full subsidised bar and free power points to charge your phone.
Not too shabby at all.
Three tiers of early bird tickets for INDIE16 have already sold out, with weekend camping tickets for the festival now on sale at €119.
INDIE fans will be happy to see the return of the Beer Hall Stage, Comedy & Spoken Word, the Silent Disco, Festi-Huts and a wide variety of food options over the course of the weekend, with more announcements coming soon.
