Adele talks about concertgoers throwing things at artists:
“I fucking dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I'll fucking kill you.” pic.twitter.com/vy680y8ekm — Pop Crave (@PopCrave) July 4, 2023
Pop singer Bebe Rexha received a black eye and was taken to hospital recently after an audience member threw a phone at her at a concert in New York City. A 27-year-old man was later arrested and charged with assault. American country artist Kelsea Ballerini was also hit in the face by an object during a performance in Idaho last week. Lil Nas X also fell victim to the trend in a slightly more amusing manner. At a concert in Sweden on Saturday, a fan threw a sex toy on stage much to the rapper's bemusement. While the incident was slightly less dangerous than the others, it still shows a worrying trend that seems to be increasing recently. Prevention methods like netting and no-phone rules may become more common if the trend increases, which will, for a lot of fans, take away from the overall concert experience.Pink is left confused after a fan throws their mother’s ashes on stage. pic.twitter.com/g7AQ9kUH77
