The rapper was arrested in Sweden towards the end of last week.

At the time of writing, close to 400,000 people have signed a petition to demand the release of rapper A$AP Rocky, who was arrested in Sweden last week. He was arrested following the emergence of footage of a fight between him and his entourage, and two people who appeared to be following him for quite some time. A petition has since been created to demand his release, which claims that he acted in self-defence and that Rocky and his friends were "physically assaulted" first. It also claims that the conditions at the Stockholm Detention Centre are "horrendous", and that they include: "24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, access to palatable and life sustaining food as well as unsanitary conditions." The petition was shared by A$AP Mob - Rocky's entourage - on their official Twitter account. https://twitter.com/ASAPMOB/status/1148640626679963649 Among the rappers who have signed the petition are Post Malone, Lil Yachty and Miguel, with a number of them sharing the document on their respective Instagram pages. https://www.instagram.com/p/BztIWIzFsWX/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
