The Bulmers Lounge will return to Body & Soul with an eclectic line-up of music, surreal performances, poetry and more. Set in the walled gardens in the orchard of Ballinlough Castle, it is a perfect place to chill out with a pint of Bulmers and enjoy some of the varied entertainment on offer.
So what can you expect to see if you venture down to the Bulmers Lounge over the weekend?
Musical entertainment
A choir may not be everyone's cup of tea but Lalala Choir have been wowing over audiences since their formation in 2015. White_Mice, aka singer Sinead White, is another act who has shot to fame with some high profile support slots for the likes of Jess Glynne. If you fancy something with a rockier vibe, why not check out Galway supergroup Cranky Face.

Rue will offer an unusual combination of folk music, whaling songs and murder ballads while Stomptown Brass are sure to get the crowd going with their funky big band sound. If unaccompanied trad songs are your thing, check out the vocal stylings of the female four-piece Landless and trad/folk fans will need no introduction to The Bonny Men.

Other musical acts over the weekend will include My Fellow Sponges, Tongue Bundle, Laurie Shaw, The Shaker Hymn, Steven Sharpe, Vernon Jane, ZASKA, After the Ibis, The Latchikos and Tracey Bruen.
Theatre, documentary and poetry
There'll be some amazing plays on show including Tracy Ryan's critically-acclaimed production of Trainspotting, which needs little by way of introduction. The Curse of the Button Accordion is an original play that is written and performed by Sharon Mannion, an award-winning stand up comedian.
Breda's Way is a documentary that looks back at that strange period in the mid-eighties when statues of the Virgin Mary suddenly started to "move" in locations throughout Ireland. There's also an extensive line up of poetry performances that include Poets of the Revolution, The Tullamore Rhymers Club, Mac Piarais i bPictiúir – Pearse in Pictures, OutStraight and Fort Sessions.

Other acts at the Bulmers Lounge include Lords of Strut, who are guaranteed to have the audience in stitches when they bring their inimitable brand of dance, comedy and slapstick to the stage. There'll also be comedy from Steve Bennett, Comedy Shenanigans and the satirical stylings of There is no problem, only solution.
Keep an eye out for some pretty epic graffiti battles taking place at this year's event, with top Irish street artists going head-to-head over three days. Just like rap battles, the artists will be given a theme and given a set time to come up with the best piece of graffiti. There will be battles taking place on each of the three days so it's one to watch out for.
