Even more acts have been announced.

When we reported on the launch of the 2017 Townlands Carnival festival, we revealed that it offered an eclectic line-up of musical acts and entertainment against the beautiful backdrop of Macroom, Co Cork. What could be better, you ask?

Well, what if we said they’d just announced even more great acts?

That’s right. A host of fantastic new acts has been announced for the much-anticipated festival, which takes place from 21-23 July.

And to celebrate, the organisers are offering one lucky person two tickets to this year’s festival. All you have to do is answer the question below to be in with a chance.

The newly-announced acts taking part includes Limerick folk rock outfit Heritage Green, Brooklyn rap veteran Jeru the Damaja, Bristol-based drum and bass innovator Om Unit and many, many more. Check out the full list of new additions below.

They’ll join the previously announced line-up, which includes the likes of The Rubberbandits, Brushy One String, Krafty Kuts, MC Dynamite, Stomptown Brass and more. Over 100 acts will play over the three days of the festival, which offers an eclectic mix of music, spoken word, art, carnival activities and family entertainment.

Townlands Carnival encompasses five stages over three days within a purpose-built village, allowing festivals goers to become fully immersed in the carnival atmosphere.

Townlands Carnival promotes cutting edge Irish and international acts alongside diverse art and culture elements. The festival promises to be uplifting and eclectic, showcasing some of the most exciting and diverse musicians from home and abroad.
