Next year celebrates 20 years of EP.
Electric Picnic organisers have announced that the festival will take place two weeks earlier in 2024, as they prepare to celebrate 20 years of existence.
The festival posted on socials today that next year’s festival will take place from August 16-18 and that Loyalty Early Bird tickets are on sale now.
In a press release to JOE, festival organisers said:
“Tickets for Electric Picnic 2024 go on sale at 9am today 23rd August as part of the Electric Picnic Loyalty Scheme – so the first coveted tickets for next year’s festival are available to those who pre-registered for the loyalty scheme through Ticketmaster and were eligible to receive loyalty codes this morning 23rd August.
“A second round of tickets will go on sale as part of the Early Bird offering after Electric Picnic 2023 on 8th – 30th September with both General Admission and Loyalty Scheme tickets.
“There will be a final release of tickets on sale from 1st October.”

Electric Picnic 2024: Date change announced for the festival.
While we’re just over a week away from this year’s Electric Picnic festival, speculation is still rife over who will be the mystery headline act yet to be announced.
The name of the headliner, which is set to play on Sunday alongside The Killers, has been blurred from promotional pictures and looks set to remain a mystery until at least a few days before the festival.
There are multiple rumours of possible acts floating around the internet, where tour dates leave a convenient gap on the weekend of the Stradbally festival.
Acts such as Lana Del Rey, Blink 182 and Blur are all strong contenders for the secret spot.
