If you only go to one gig this month, make it this one.

Say what you want about the nineties but the decade produced some epic dance tunes. How could you possibly make them any better, you ask?

Well, mashing them up with the might of a full orchestra is one way to do it. And if you like the sound of that, you’ll be excited to hear that Jenny Greene and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra have put the band back together and they’re going back on the road with a brand new set.

Anyone who was lucky enough to catch their set at last year’s Electric Picnic will know what an amazing live experience it was. Old school tunes like Insomnia by Faithless and Everybody’s Free by Rozalla were given a new lease of life and it was one of the most memorable performances of the weekend.

The 2FM DJ will also be reunited with Cork native Gemma Sugrue and conductor Gavin Murphy for the much-anticipated gig in Dublin’s 3Arena on Friday, 21 April. There are still a few tickets remaining if you want to catch this unmissable event but you’ll need to hurry.

Now all you need is a playlist full of old school bangers to get you in the mood!

Make sure you don’t miss out on the gig of the year. You can still buy tickets to Jenny Greene and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra 2fm Dance Anthems.
