JOE’s Song Of The Day #469: Jester – ‘Little Run Down’

JOE

This Tipp band are tipped to go to the top.

Little Run Down is the new single by Thurles band, Jester.

Speaking about the song, Mark O’ Dwyer said: “It’s a dark tale… at least at first glance. The heroine of the song is not in the best of form. ‘she’s just a little run down at the moment.’

“She’s been messed around over the years. Screwed over. Hurt. Damaged. But not completely broken. She’s in a bad place, but she’s going to be okay.

“It’s a theme that runs right through Jester’s forthcoming album, Shadows Need A Light — darkness with a chance of redemption, the happy side of sad. There’s always light somewhere.”

Little Run Down has already received airplay from Today Fm’s Ed Smith and is available to download now.

Future live dates include Feile Beag on Saturday 5 Aug and on Friday 19 Aug they will be supporting The Riptide Movement in Hayes Hotel, Thurles.
