Le Galaxie and Lisa Hannigan lead the line-up for the first ‘Westival’ festival in County Mayo

Festival season never sleeps.

It just takes the odd nap and then comes back for more. The Westport Music and Arts Festival has been a key calendar entry for many a seasoned gig-goer for some time now, but they've decided to shake things up for 2018. Now going under the shiny new moniker of Westival, the six-day spectacular offers a huge array of entertainment, from gigs and sessions to interviews and performances alongside seminars, art installations and a great deal more worth exploring.
