Linkin Park front-man Chester Bennington has reportedly died by suicide, aged 41

Tragic news coming from LA this morning.

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has been reported to have died at the age of 41.

According to reports by TMZ, Bennington to have died by suicide in his Los Angeles home, and his body was discovered by the LAPD in the early hours of Thursday morning, local time.

The singer was married, and had six children.

The band released their most recent album One More Light in May of this year, which topped the charts around the world.

Bennington was close friends with Chris Cornell, who also died by suicide, in May earlier this year, and 20 July would have been Cornell’s 53rd birthday.
