It has been confirmed that legendary heavy metal group Metallica will play two dates at Dublin's Aviva Stadium in June 2026.
The rockers' record-breaking M72 World Tour will be extended into its fourth year with the announcement of 16 shows in Europe and the UK spanning May, June and July next year.
The gigs are broken up into two sections: 'One Night Only' and 'No Repeat Weekend'.
As part of the latter, Metallica will perform two nights with "two different sets and two different opening acts".
Dublin's concerts on 19 and 21 June fall into the No Repeat Weekend category.
The support acts Gojira, Pantera, Knocked Loose and Avatar are scheduled to perform over the two nights in the Irish capital.
